Watch me speak
A short example of how I communicate complex pain science clearly, critically and with a focus on practical understanding
MSc Lecture Feedback
The love he radiated for his area of expertise really invites students to love it also and invest their time into understanding it.
Not only would I recommend the lecture to others (I truly wish everyone could experience it), I would recommend this lecturer to others. Every bit of the class was meaningful and added value to our learning of the new topic.

The content was engaging and the environment Edward created was one where everyone felt comfortable enough to get the answers wrong. The stakes felt important (with his miniature marking scheme) but low, and yet the value of the exercises he incorporated was astronomically high. It was actually the first lecture I've seen in our 5 weeks where the class was firing off responses with sheer openness to being completely off the ball.

Regarding the quality and relevance of the content, it certainly hit the nail on its head with satisfying our intellectual itch to grow in neuroscientfic knowledge.

I really appreciated the engagement with the lecture as it helped me have a better grasp of the material. I appreciated Edward's energy and attitude for the lecture; it was obvious he had a passion for the topic, which made the presentation more enjoyable.
